These files are valuable when searching or locating a lost or injured subject on our local trails. GPS is a learned skill and must be practiced to be an efficient user. GAIA GPS Map app is the official phone app for SAR South.

NOTE:

GPX files must be imported into a GPS supporting host program or apps like Gaia, BackCountry Navigator, Garmin maps, or GPS units, etc. You may download them without a host program but you won't be able to open and view.
